Practical CBT

Click here to get in touch about any aspect of training or supervision.

Dr Joshua Carritt-Baker has taught several introductory CBT courses for non-CBT practitioners. He is particularly interested in working with people to integrate CBT into their clinical practice. He will be running the Practical CBT series in Spring 2009. These will be co-facilitiated by a non-CBT therapist who has successfully woven CBT principles into their practice. The workshops will be interactive and participatory so you can develop real skills based on CBT principles.

Driving Forward

The Centre for Road Trauma Rehabilitation strives to be a centre of excellence for the treatment of accident-realated trauma. Dr Carritt-Baker has worked in conjunction with Colin Baker (ADI) for five years to develop the package of care now on offer. During that time, they have presented several conference workshops and Dr Carritt-Baker has provided advice to practitioners in the UK and internationally regarding the provision of services for driving-related problems. They welcome enquiries for supervision and teaching on any driving-related issue.

Clinical Supervision

Psychology Network has a growing number of experienced clinicians who can provide clinical supervision on a variety of general and specialised therapeutic and professional issues. This can be on a regular or ad-hoc basis. If you are part of a local professional group (e.g. Sussex Counselling), you may be able to obtain group supervision for integrating CBT into your clinical practice - get in touch for details.
