There is currently a large self-help literature available for psychological problems however some people find applying them on their own difficult. We can offer guidance regarding the use of these published materials and support in gaining and maintaining the best possible results. We suggest up to four sessions for this service spread over a period of time that suits you.

This service uses current psychological models that assist you in developing your own skills in managing your difficulties. As well as enabling you to gain a greater understanding of yourself and your difficulties there is an emphasis on self-help which allows this therapeutic approach to be effective in a few sessions. We suggest up to six sessions for this service.

CBT is the treatment of choice for a broad range of mental health difficulties including anxiety disorders and depression. It is a collaborative talking therapy where therapist and client reach a shared understanding of the problem and how it might be resolved.
This service is underpinned by CBT principles but integrates other approaches to offer the most effective treatment possible. A wide range of approaches may be suggested including mindfulness, yoga, pilates and massage, with the aim of a targeted reduction of symptoms.
