Following an initial telephone conversation, an appointment will be made for you to see a psychologist or driving instructor (usually Colin Baker) or both depending on your needs. Further sessions are then arranged as required. These sessions will focus on just those issues that you want to tackle, be conducted at the pace that feels right for you and can continue until you feel happy driving where you want to drive.
In-car sessions with a driving instructor are charged from £30/hour (minimum two hours). Three and a half hours with a psychologist and a driving instructor combining an assessment and in-car work starts from £250. These prices are for National Phobics Society members.
